Director Greta Gerwig and production designer Sarah Greenwood intentionally built Barbie Land to look like an elaborate toy world brought to life. Bright, plastic, and slightly artificial. Rather than relying on full CG environments, most of the sets were physically constructed on soundstages. The VFX team worked to seamlessly extend those sets while preserving the handcrafted charm.
