For The Flight Attendant, our visual effects team played a crucial role in balancing the show’s sleek visual style with its darkly comedic tone. We created fully CG airplanes for both in-flight and exterior sequences, complemented by green screen environments and set extensions that expanded the scope of airports, and international destinations. The series also featured stylized graphic blood and gore effects that were carefully choreographed to interact naturally with the actors’ performances, enhancing key moments of shock and suspense. One of the most technically demanding aspects was developing the realistic CG rabbits that appeared throughout the main character’s hallucinations, requiring detailed fur simulations, expressive animation, and precise compositing to make these surreal visions feel tangible within the show’s psychological narrative.
